Why New England Must Keep the Forefathers’ Day Flame Alive

Forefathers’ Day—first celebrated in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1769—remains one of the oldest continuously observed commemorations in the United States. Originally known as Old Colony Day, the holiday honors the landing of the Pilgrim Fathers at Plymouth in December 1620, and the founding of Plymouth Colony. More than a quaint regional tradition, Forefathers’ Day was born in the tense years before the American Revolution as a deliberate assertion of local identity, resistance to centralized power, and reverence for the values that shaped early New England. Today, those values are no less essential, and the holiday deserves renewed attention in a time when the relationship between citizens and government grows ever more strained.

The origins of the holiday are as significant as the event it celebrates. In 1769, a group of young men in Plymouth—Mayflower descendants who formed the Old Colony Club—established a day explicitly “to honor the forefathers.” They chose the adjusted anniversary of the Pilgrims’ landing, taking into account the 1752 switch from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar. That first celebration, held on December 22, 1769, took place at an inn built on the site of the colony’s earliest licensed house. It featured simple New England fare that the founders believed echoed the Pilgrims’ table: Indian whortleberry pudding, succotash, clams, codfish, venison roasted on an early colonial jack, seafowl, eel, apple pie, and cranberry tarts. Early festivities also introduced elements that would become hallmarks of the holiday: dawn marches, the firing of guns or cannon, toasts, orations, and readings praising the courage, faith, and endurance of the Pilgrim settlers.

These rituals were never mere antiquarian amusements. The late 1760s were a time of mounting conflict between Massachusetts and the British Parliment. Taxes without representation, the stationing of troops, the suspension of colonial charters, and the erosion of traditional rights deeply unsettled the province. In this climate, the descendants of the Pilgrims looked to their forebears, much like the New England National Party does, not simply as historical figures, but as models of resistance to political and religious oppression. The first Forefathers’ Day celebration was therefore patriotic as well as pious—a reminder that the people of New England had stood against tyranny before, and would stand against it again.

In the twenty-first century, a dawn march on a cold December morning might seem like an anachronism, a tradition out of joint with a world of smartphones, streaming services, and cultural homogenization. Yet it is precisely because our world is so uniform and centralized that Forefathers’ Day matters more than ever. The federal government now asserts authority over minute details of daily life: what farmers may plant, what appliances households may own, what treatments individuals must purchase, and even what opinions one may voice without fear of reprisal. It borrows, spends, and surveils on a scale that would have staggered the imagination of the Founders. In many ways, the grievances that animated the Pilgrims (and later the Revolutionaries) resonate again, though expressed through modern institutions rather than royal edicts.

No region should feel this more sharply than New England. The character of this part of the country—its accent, architecture, cuisine, literature, and cultural identity—was forged by people who placed conscience above coercion, and local self-government above distant authority. The Mayflower Compact, written before the Pilgrims even stepped ashore, remains a testament to the principle that free people govern themselves through mutual consent. Town-meeting democracy, born in New England’s earliest settlements, embodied a political independence unmatched anywhere else in the colonies. To forget these origins is to allow the region’s distinctive identity, and the virtues that sustained it, to erode.

Allowing Forefathers’ Day to fade would mean surrendering one of the last public reminders of that heritage. The modern world pressures every community to conform—to consume the same media, accept the same narratives, and submit to the same centralized systems of social and political control. By celebrating Forefathers’ Day, New Englanders perform an act of cultural preservation as vital as maintaining a historic saltbox house or stone wall. The holiday affirms that courage, faith, self-reliance, and local autonomy are not outdated ideals, but enduring requirements of a free society.

More than an act of remembrance, the holiday is also an act of preparation. Each generation must be reminded that power corrupts—and that excessive, centralized power corrupts absolutely. The Pilgrims’ descendants in 1769 understood that commemorating the landing of the Mayflower was not play-acting; it was a moral exercise, a way of rehearsing the virtues that resistance to injustice demands. When modern celebrants gather over traditional foods, read classic addresses by Webster or Adams, or toast the ancient virtues—Faith, Valor, Piety, Justice, Liberty—they are cultivating the same disposition of mind and heart that sustained their ancestors in moments of crisis.

New England has long punched above her weight in the American story because her people carried a sharper sense of right and wrong, a deeper respect for learning and faith, and a stubborn attachment to principle. That edge grows dull when its history is forgotten. Forefathers’ Day keeps it sharp. So let Plymouth keep its ancient feast on December 22. Let the Old Colony Club march at dawn. Let the Mayflower Society lay its wreath. Let families serve codfish and Indian pudding, and remember that their forebears once chose liberty, even at the cost of hunger and hardship.

In an America where centralized authority continues to expand and dissent again draws censure, the example of the Pilgrims is not quaint—it is urgent. Forefathers’ Day reminds us that free communities survive only when they cherish the spirit that gave them birth.

The forefathers are still watching, and it is up to New England to keep their flame alive.

The Treason of the Great Replacement: An Invading Force

In the shadowed corridors of New England, where the Constitution hangs by a thread and the once-proud states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut struggle to remember their own roots, the regional Democrats stand accused of high treason for orchestrating this ‘Great Replacement’. Cloaked in humanitarian rhetoric, its leaders fling open the borders, welcoming hordes of illegal aliens from Haiti, India, South America and other third world nations as unwitting soldiers in a silent cultural war. These “new Americans” are an invading force: marching in, not with rifles but with cultural disruptors—demands for foreign tongues in New England’s schools, bizarre rituals in historic town squares, and expectations that centuries-old traditions bow before imported customs. When Democratic leaders like Rep. Matt Blumenthal (D – CT) called current federal immigration policy “fundamentally cruel and stupid.” or Rep. Ambureen Rana (D – ME) “support bills limiting work with federal immigration authorities.” This betrayal, punishable under ancient colonial laws of treason, aids external enemies by diluting the region’s identity, turning sovereign soil into a patchwork of alien enclaves.

These invaders refuse assimilation, eroding local cultures. In the once-homogeneous towns from Maine to Connecticut, Cinco de Mayo

replace Fourth of July barbecues while Somali clans enforce tribal justice over local laws, leading to clashes that fracture community bonds. South American cartels, disguised as migrant families, import ‘Day of the Dead’ festivals that overshadow Thanksgiving, and Indian enclaves prioritize Diwali over Christmas, forcing schools to adopt multilingual curricula that confuse young American minds. In New England, 70% of these newcomers reject regional language proficiency tests, instead forming insulated bubbles where their foreign music blares beyond New England’s subtle soundscape, they stir the region’s longstanding homogony into something chaotic. Crimes against New Englanders escalate in this nightmarish narrative, painting a grim picture of unchecked aggression. Foreign street gangs in Lewiston and New Haven pray on unsuspecting New Englanders under the guise of cultural celebration. In the towns of Hartford and Providence, foreign syndicates are masterminds of elaborate theft rings, stripping neighborhoods bare while, criminals, posing as asylum seekers, infiltrate towns from Providence to Bangor, committing violent crimes against the citizenry. These acts transform everyday residents into victims, their cries drowned beneath the invaders’ foreign chants.

Yet the New England Democrats persist in their defiance, shielding these forces while undermining Immigration enforcement and local police agencies at every turn. In underground caucuses beneath Boston and New Haven, Democratic party elites like Mayor Michelle Wu and Mayor Justin Elicker promote these sanctuary cities that harbor these criminals, issuing decrees that label border agents and local police as “rogue agencies” who are “breaking the law, causing terror” and “terrorizing citizens.” They champion bills that strip funding from ICE and local law enforcement, celebrating each thwarted deportation as a triumph over “xenophobia.” Even as evidence of cultural erosion and crime waves piles up, Democrats rally with chants of solidarity, portraying the invaders as heroes in a grand reimagining of New England’s destiny. All the while, Republicans sit idly by and let it happen, making them also complicit. This unyielding support from both political parties are a clear act of treason.

When our forefathers inscribed those immortal words 238 years ago, they understood something we seem to have forgotten: rights may be universal, but responsibility begins at home. The U.S. government does not — and should not — defend the people of France before defending its own citizens. No one expects Connecticut to pave roads in Colorado before fixing its own. And yet, when it comes to the economy, when it comes to jobs, we act as though local loyalty is an outdated relic.

Let’s call it what it is: a betrayal.

For 35 years, our government has allowed corporations to bypass American workers under the guise of necessity. The H-1B visa system was sold as a practical solution: a stopgap to be used when no qualified American could be found. But that’s not how it’s used. Not anymore. Today, companies deliberately design roles for foreign hires, bury job ads in obscure newspapers, and bypass local workers entirely. The same companies that advertise other roles on major platforms like Indeed suddenly become secretive when it comes to H-1B positions. Why? Because it’s not about talent. It’s about control, and cheap, compliant labor.

Let’s look at the numbers. Connecticut’s unemployment is at 3.8%. Underemployment is at 7.1%. That’s over 1 in 10 workers who are unemployed or not fully employed. Are we seriously expected to believe that out of this 11%, not a single New Englander could be trained to fill these roles? Are we really so lacking in imagination, or just so willing to sell out our own?

Capital is not free of obligation. In fact, it carries enormous responsibility , especially to the communities it profits from. We’d never accept a local mechanic dumping oil next to a school. But when corporations dump opportunities and lifelines — jobs — meant for our neighbors, our veterans, our graduates, our struggling families, we shrug. We look away. We pretend it’s all just part of a globalized economy.

Well, it’s not. It’s a moral failure. And it’s time we said so plainly, loudly, and without apology.

           So What Can We Do?

Moral outrage means little without action. If we’re serious about reclaiming jobs for our communities and restoring economic dignity for American workers, then both citizens and leaders must act. Not later, but now.

           New England Workers:

           1.	Organize and Speak Out

Join or form worker groups, unions, or civic coalitions. Use social media, op-eds, petitions, and protests to demand that local jobs go to local people. Insist on full transparency in job postings and hiring practices.

           2.	Vote with your Wallet

Support companies that prioritize hiring Americans. Ask employers directly about their local hiring record. Vote for candidates who commit to labor reform and oppose abuse of the visa system.

           3.	Document and Report Abuse

If you see jobs posted only in obscure outlets, or roles clearly crafted for visa workers, document it. Report abuses to state labor departments, media outlets, and watchdog organizations. Public pressure works when we apply it.

           New England State Representatives:

           1.	Enact “Local First” Hiring Laws

Introduce legislation requiring employers to publicly post and offer jobs locally for a set period before turning to foreign hires. Add meaningful penalties for failure to comply.

           2. Expose the Abusers with Transparency Laws

Force companies to report how they hire.

Where they post jobs. How many locals they interviewed and rejected. Publish it all. Let the public see who's building the community, and who's bleeding it dry.

           3. Tie State Money to State Workers

If a company wants tax breaks, subsidies, or contracts from the state, then it must prove it's hiring locally. Period. No more handouts for job exporters. No more taxpayer money for traitors to the local workforce.

This is a line in the sand.

If we continue to let corporations prioritize convenience over country, profit over people, and foreign labor over New Englander’s livelihoods, we shouldn’t be surprised when our communities falter. But if we act with resolve and unity, we can restore fairness, dignity, and economic justice to the New England worker.

The Constitution was written for ourselves and our posterity. Not for outsourced labor. Not for global shareholders. And certainly not for those who would abandon the very people who built this nation.

           Let’s start acting like it.

           Live Woke or Die?

New Hampshire stands apart from her sister states of New England, as the land that prioritizes the protection of individual liberty. At least, that is her reputation. Do not get too comfortable in the “live free or die” state though, for the woke cancel culture beast does dwell in the New Hampshire statehouse, and this past Columbus Day they/them has reared its hateful head and come for a heroine of New England legend; Hannah Duston.

Hannah Duston was a resident of Haverhill, in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during the spring of 1697, when a war party of the Abenaki Indians came to call, slaughtering 27 men, women, and children. Hannah and her newborn baby were taken as slaves, but her child did not survive the brutality of their kidnappers. According to the legend documented by famed New England revivalist Cotton Mather, one night on a small island in the Merrimack River, located in the present day village of Boscawen, New Hampshire, Hannah slaughtered ten of her captors with a tomahawk, and took their scalps back to the General Assembly of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. These were the just actions of a heroic woman, a vengeful mother, and a colonial patriot. Hannah’s courage, and the indomitable spirit of our colonial New England women, deserves to be honored by all New Englanders until the ending of this world. With this intent, in the year 1874 the State of New Hampshire erected a statue to Hannah on the site where she fought for her freedom.

Who has come for Hannah centuries after her passing? Prosperity begets soft men, and we know that those who come for her now could never measure up and survive the ordeal of captivity that she did, not even supposed Ironman triathletes. “Representative” Dave Nagel, the Republican allegedly representing Gilmanton, Gilford, and Laconia has told the Boston Globe that he is “appalled”, and feels that we should be “very ashamed” of this part of our history. He is filing legislation to either destroy Hannah’s monument, or remove it from the historic location. Why, Mr. Nagel? Do you find it shameful for a woman to defend herself from savage murderers and slavers? Do we not enjoy a fundamental right of self-defense in the state of New Hampshire? How can New Hampshire residents expect you to defend our liberty in Concord, when you are distraught by our ancestors defending their very lives on the frontier of colonial New England? It is quite telling that it was the Globe Mr. Nagel chose to lodge his remarks with. New Hampshire has a specific attitude towards the modern colonialism coming out of Boston.

Take heart, New Hampshire. Various representatives have already announced their opposition to Mr. Nagel’s endeavor, and it has been confirmed to us that Hannah’s monument and memory will be fought for. We are confident that Mr. Nagel’s insulting bill shall be defeated. The men and women of The New England National Party do hereby formally condemn Mr. Nagel’s remarks denigrating our sacred history, and we request his apology to the state of New Hampshire, and all the people of New England, past, present, and future. Let’s keep Hannah Duston where she is, and send Dave Nagel packing.

Reclaiming The American Soul: Why Young Heritage Men Should Embrace Their Home-Grown Protestant Religion

In an era of spiritual awakening, young American men—particularly those of heritage stock—are increasingly drawn to ancient Christian traditions. Amidst the chaos of woke ideology and cultural decay, many seek refuge in the ornate liturgies of Eastern Orthodoxy or the structured hierarchies of Roman Catholicism. These paths offer timeless rituals, unyielding doctrines, and a rejection of modern progressivism, symbolized by churches free of rainbow flags. Yet, as a pastor rooted in New England's historic soil, I argue that the most authentic and attractive faith for these men lies not in imported traditions, but in the home-grown American Protestantism of our fathers, as discussed in my recent interview on

This tradition is woven into the fabric of America itself. Born from the Puritan settlers who braved the Atlantic in the 17th century, it embodies the pioneer spirit that founded towns like Woodbury, Connecticut, in 1659. These early congregations were not mere religious outposts; they were ecclesiastical societies that chartered communities, taxed for church upkeep, and educated children in biblical truth. Churches like the First Congregational in Woodbury, with its 1818 meeting house, stand as living monuments to a faith that seeded liberty and self-governance. From the Great Awakening revivals of Jonathan Edwards to the abolitionist fervor of the 19th century, this Protestantism fueled America's moral compass, emphasizing personal encounter with God through Scripture over mediated rituals.

Why should young heritage-American men prefer this over Orthodoxy or Catholicism? First, it's native to our land. Orthodoxy, with its Byzantine icons and Slavic chants, thrives in Greece or Russia but feels foreign in the cradle of American liberty. Catholicism, while influential through later immigration, carries the baggage of papal authority and historical entanglements with European monarchies—elements at odds with our republican ethos. American Protestantism, by contrast, is the faith of the Mayflower Compact, where believers covenanted directly with God and one another, fostering individualism and communal responsibility without intermediaries. Moreover, it aligns with the masculine virtues young men crave: boldness, self-reliance, and action. Protestantism's emphasis on sola scriptura—Scripture alone—empowers men to read God's word themselves, without needing priestly interpretation. It's a faith for builders, not mere preservers; one that demands reclaiming hijacked institutions from progressive "wolves" who wave flags of compromise.

The appeal of ancient traditions is understandable in a deracinated age, but importing them risks further cultural alienation. Instead, imagine revitalizing a colonial church: stripping away liberal accretions, preaching unvarnished truth, and forging communities that echo our ancestors' resilience. This is no retreat—it's a noble conquest—like the New England wilderness of old. As tides turn against wokeness, per divine providence, young men can pour gas on the revival by restoring these bastions.

In Connecticut, where revival stirs anew, churches like mine welcome sinners to a straightforward faith: yes means yes, no means no. It's time to make American Protestantism great again—not through novelty, but fidelity to our heritage. Young men, your fathers' God calls you home.

I have previously expounded upon the political quagmire that is the Republican Town Committee (RTC) system in Connecticut in my March 2025 article for The Centinal, “The RTC Trap”. Now in the aftermath of the horrific Charlie Kirk assassination, the corruption of those bodies throughout Connecticut has emerged plainly into the light of day. The pitiful creature that calls itself the Republican Party in Connecticut has mustered the energy to crawl out of the damp dungeon it jealously guards, and now weakly attempts to corral the righteous anger that has bubbled up from the depths of the hearts of American patriots. I am speaking generally about the response to recent events by the CT GOP, but I am also speaking specifically about the commotion caused by Fairfield RTC member Melissa Longo. I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Melissa soon after the whirlwind began over her online remarks pertaining to the assassination. This was a courtesy not afforded to legacy media until just recently, and with good reason, as the reputation of most journalists has been irreparably tarnished by the work of the various left wing smear merchants that populate the profession. Every honest observer of politics knows that the left perfected their art of character assassination long before they mastered agitating young liberals into murderous rage. In this article, I shall elaborate on Melissa’s recent experiences in Fairfield, and why American patriots should not be seeking “unity” in these troubling times.

In Melissa’s social media posts, she excoriated the left, and bluntly stated that Democrats are “Faithless, God hating, evil, vile people”. Strong words for sure, but unless you are completely dishonest with yourself, you know that this is language that average conservative Republicans have been using among themselves for decades now. These things are not typically discussed publicly, and are avoided with dread and trepidation at the Thanksgiving dinner table, while American patriots are forced to scream in the soundproof room of their souls about all the evil we see in this world. Ironically in this modern age of everyone having their own truth, and every bizarre and deviant form of “self-expression” being treated as valid by the mainstream culture, American patriots are denied their voice about anything that really matters. It’s a free country. As long as you don't have anything of consequence to say.

Fairfield RTC Chair Laura Devlin wants those thanksgiving dinners to go smoothly. “Free speech is one thing, hate speech is something else” according to Mrs. Devlin in her comments to News 12, and she has used her position to condemn Melissa, and even vastly overstepped her authority by removing her from the RTC web page as a candidate. This is the typical stale old Republican unity rhetoric, which we saw here in Connecticut before Charlie’s blood was even cold, and the offering of a sacrifice to assuage Democrat vitriol and hate. Devlin fears that strong rhetoric will harm Republican candidates in the elections in Fairfield, by diminishing their chances to draw Democrat voters away from their party. Well I have some uncomfortable truth to share with Mrs. Devlin, for as Charlie Kirk would patiently explain to her, there is no such thing as “hate speech”. This is why Democrats are free to sling about the most egregious slander imaginable, regularly accusing every American who has political or religious beliefs to the right of Lenin as being a racist, fascist, nazi, white supremacist, etc. etc. In our current age of media manipulation and duplicitous politicians, freedom of speech is one of the last honest defenses we have in our society. The 1st amendment ensures legal protection, so that people can tell us who they truly are, and I for one, value that. We have seen that the American people value straight talk above all else with the election of President Trump, who disregards all the focus groups, and tells people exactly what is on his mind. Honesty is an American value, and as Melissa Longo has correctly noted, it resonates with the base when they know they have a genuine champion, not just an inoffensively packaged negotiator representing them.

Has the Democrat party ever disavowed their radicals? Surely, they must do so if they want to secure a super majority in the Connecticut legislature, right? Yeah. We have heard exactly zero members of the Democrat Party denouncing the blood lust of their radicals, as they have the advantage of a complicit Republican party which quite literally lets them get away with murder. Democrats are happy to decry political violence “from both sides”, knowing full well that right wing political violence is so non existent in America, that they must resort to enlisting the FBI to literally manufacture it, like they did on January 6th, and in the great Gretchin Whitmer kidnapping hoax. As a right-wing political activist myself, I can confirm that it is a monumental task just convincing Republicans to vote, so the chances of any of them ever being radicalized and convinced to conduct assassinations are virtually zero. Republicans like Chairwoman Devlin do not live in the current reality that the rest of us do. They still live with childish ignorance in the picture perfect Pax Americana of the 1990s, when not that much separated Democrats and Republicans, save some differing opinions on what was the best direction for the country. It is the year 2025, and the political divide is now incomprehensibly vast. Ordinary American patriots love their country, and are struggling to raise their families in peace, while the radical left insists our very blood is evil, our history is wicked, our skin color is oppressive, and the land we call home is stolen from people better than us. Mrs. Devlin, and many in the CT GOP do not know what time it is.

That’s enough about our feckless Republican Party. Let’s get back to Melissa and her “hate speech”. Generally speaking, when leftists accuse someone of hate speech, what they mean is true speech. We can simply examine Melissa’s statement, and see if any of it was in error. Now does anyone remember the response Kamala Harris gave when some attendees shouted out “Jesus is Lord” at her event? “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally” was the then Vice President’s response to those young men. Kamala Harris did not win the election, and now the Vice Presidency is held by a man who does not pull punches when confronting the left and their media mouthpieces. There is a lesson to be learned there, but I think for our purposes today, the former Democrat presidential candidate’s opposition to The Lord Jesus Christ is the key take away. “Faithless and God hating” certainly seems to check out, and as we saw on September 10th, I think it’s fair to take things a step further, and add “violent and dangerous” to the adjectives describing modern Democrats.

Like Vice President Vance, Melissa Longo also does not pull punches, and this is exactly why she retains the support of Fairfield residents and is now gaining the attention and loyalty of marginalized conservatives from across the state. In our conversation Melissa correctly gauged that “There are no Democrat votes to be gained” by sheepishly begging for unity from Democrats. Like an abuser who suddenly wants to be reasonable when the police arrive at a domestic dispute, Governor Lamont and the Democrats are droning on continuously about unity now, when it is their radical activists who are murdering our people. I will pass on unity with that, thank you. Your party created this beast, Governor Lamont, I suggest you rein it in yourself.

Connecticut Republicans can likely expect more “divisive” rhetoric from Melissa Longo, as she confirmed that while she regretted the use of some vulgarity that set the Republican leadership to hand wringing, she has no intention of backing down and retracting her statements. This is the leadership of the RTC that has opted to toss her to the wolves, and is endeavoring to remove her from the body. They do not speak for the entirety of Fairfield Republicans. Melissa did say that she received support from the Connecticut GOP in her recent bid for state rep, so we shall see what the party leadership decides on her. Will they stand up and support a potential rising star for their flailing organization? Or will they pay tribute once more to the Godless beast that is strangling our state? Time will tell, but as for me and my house, we stand with Melissa Longo. No unity with the violent radical left.

“They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace’, when there is no peace.”

Family Portraits in Ruins: Pink’s Testimony and the Wreckage of Divorce Culture

Third-wave feminism spoke of smashing the patriarchy. The rallying cry promised freedom from oppressive structures, but what it often delivered — through shifts in divorce law, custody norms, and cultural messaging — was the smashing of families. One doesn’t need to read legal briefs or sociology papers to see the fallout. The most compelling testimony comes from the children themselves, and Pink’s 2001 hit Family Portrait is a raw, unfiltered cry from inside the ruins.

The central refrain of the song —

            “Daddy don’t leave”

            — is not political rhetoric, it’s a child’s desperate plea. Pink paints the picture of a young girl bargaining with her father:

“I’ll be so much better… I won’t spill the milk at dinner.”

This reveals the way children internalize divorce, carrying guilt and responsibility for adult dysfunction. Far from liberation, the absence of the father creates an existential wound, leaving the daughter to believe her worth is contingent on preventing abandonment.

           Maternal Chaos

Pink also describes the mother’s breakdown — crying, yelling, fighting over money. The home is not a sanctuary but a battlefield:

“It ain’t easy growing up in World War III.”

The supposed empowerment of women through divorce often translates into instability for children. The song captures this chaos viscerally: the sound of breaking glass, the crying mother, the fractured sense of safety. Feminist liberation here does not look like strength but fragility passed down to the child.

           The Lost Patriarchal Order

The haunting wish in the song is not for independence or freedom but for a restoration:

“In our family portrait, we look pretty happy… let’s go back to that.”

Pink’s nostalgia — even if it is “pretend” — reveals a deep cultural longing for structure, unity, and fatherhood. Ironically, while feminist discourse framed the patriarchal household as oppressive, the child inside that broken home dreams not of emancipation but of its return.

           Cultural Testimony

This is why Family Portrait is more than a pop ballad. It’s an artifact of cultural truth. Children of divorce did not celebrate the dismantling of patriarchy — they mourned it. Their music, their stories, their broken pleas became evidence of what was lost. The feminist slogans shouted in the streets find their counterpoint in the whispers and cries of children who just wanted their dad to stay home.

           Conclusion

Pink, an icon of rebellion and independence, did not sing this as theory. She sang it as lived pain. Her song is evidence that when fathers were written out of the home by cultural and legal revolutions, children paid the price. The family portrait — once the symbol of order and stability — became a museum piece of something children could only pretend to have.

As pride month comes to an end, the New England National Party is proud of its activists, and the various actions they took to promote Christian virtue, and stand against the toxic LGBT culture that has permeated the states of New England. This is only the beginning for our organization, and we look forward to leading the way, and showing all of New England that God’s Church is on the offensive once more.

The latest letter campaign from our contributors. This statement was delivered to Washington D.C, and addressed to the following New England House of Representative listed below. We encourage everyone to reach out to your representative and express your discontent for this threat to our culture and our New England way of life.

commemoration of the Battles of Lexington and Concord which ignited the Revolutionary War. Crossing the iconic bridge, after the festivities were over and people were dispersing, I found my internet friends by their sharp New England National Party flag. A welcome sight after the perplexing “Free Khalil” and “No Kings, No Tyrants” signs more popular among the woke inhabitants of the Commonwealth.

We walked along, handing out flyers as I plied the NENP guys with questions. Here's how you know it’s a worthwhile movement: NENP is creating an action-oriented infrastructure that carries out and flows down President Trump’s aphorism to Make America Great Again. Everyone chants this; I still wear the red hat jogging in every state in which I find myself. But what is greatness, and how are people outside the DC beltway going to accomplish it within their own communities?

The key distinguishing feature of NENP is its intention to be a registered political party. Not simply a reactionary movement making political demands of the established order, like the Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street. NENP’s goal is to elect NENP-registered politicians at the local, and up to state, level. The ultimate goal described to me is the election of an NENP Governor. This is a smart and reasonable vision.

Minor parties, while arguably a distraction at the presidential level, provide contrast within the morass of local level politics. The Republican party is splintering, and zealous conservatives within the party are jaded by decades of local RINO leadership. RINO Republican municipal-level politicians like to say they’re “pro-local business” (a globalist tagline repeated to never-Trumper, either-Cheney boomers). These same local elected officials will allow a liquor store to buy and knock down a well-maintained 1930s home in the middle of a residential neighborhood to expand its parking lot. And willingly bring in a turnkey Chinese subsidiary over nurturing American start-ups, simply because it’s “investment in our community.” All under the deceptive header of “pro-local business” chanted by registered-Republican RINOs. I neither recognize nor acknowledge these actions as “Republican.”

Yet, a more conservative challenger will have a hard time convincing the jaded public of a “different kind of Republican” for whom they should vote. This is where minor parties add context to the tapestry of local political ideology and vision. Often in small towns, there will be only 1-3 challengers for a given town/city council seat. So running as a minor party candidate gives the challenger the advantage of conservative talking points, as well as street cred to guarantee a different outcome. NENP will provide this opportunity in the New England states.

Speaking of which: the other distinctive characteristic of NENP as both a movement and minor political party is its regional orientation and mission. I could go on about how special and unique New England is, because it is. The birthplace of the nation, with its ancient battle scars and lessons learned, cries out for a regionally specific solution. But the argument can also be made that the several distinct and valuable regions among these many states are also well-served at the local level by remembering their histories and traditions.

Big box stores in identical strip malls, generic food chains, Amazon gadgets arriving from a nearby warehouse: these features of modern life don’t enhance or resemble any of the historic regions of this country. In the past, you’d go on vacation to distant places where people sounded different, food tasted different, and they wore different styles that you could only get there. The experience inspired you to buy keepsakes and postcards by which to remember it. Now, visiting other places has all the comforts of home – and none of the excitement of being in a strange land. Regions are losing their character to the sameness of globalism.

Regionalism is part of the key to restoring American greatness. Understanding that common values, tastes, and tendencies reach only so far geographically.

I lived in Massachusetts for 17 years: from the reversal of the curse, to the Boston marathon bombing, to the unlikely election of a Republican Boston Mayor. When I think of a movement defined by New England nationalism, I know exactly what that means. New England is about self-sufficiency, frugality, and toughness. It’s about leaving the bits of forest and woods, laced throughout and between towns, just as they are. You don’t know who owns those adventure trails, but you know no one would dare suggest developing a "light industrial” upon it. As I saw on Patriot’s Day, it’s about opposing groups gathering together peacefully toward the higher goal of appreciating history. New Englanders follow the rules, lead honest lives, and don’t tolerate anyone who can’t abide by these terms.

NENP astutely observes that all of the characteristics I just mentioned are shared by those who voted for both Republicans and Democrats in November. New Englanders have much in common when it comes local governance. NENP will inspire those left behind by both parties locally, and move the needle back toward the historical truth of traditional values.

anniversary of Lexington and Concord seems to have escaped the notice of the rest of the country, but to those of us attending the ceremonies at The Old North Bridge in Concord, it felt as if all of New England had come. This was in fact the inaugural event for the NENP in the state of Massachusetts, and it proved to be a resounding success for all members. Grounding our movement on the legacy of our forefathers was an essential step for the organization, as it is their true spirit of liberty that we intend to carry forward into the 21

Present, were various government officials and dignitaries, who delivered carefully rehearsed remarks within the accepted realms of thought. These speeches our politicians give could easily all be written by AI in this current age, as their droll regurgitated words have been spoken in various combinations ten thousand times before, to different audiences. Our sacred history belongs to the people of New England and should not be exploited by the principle bereft politicians. Gone are the titans of leadership that built our country in colonial times, and in their positions today we now have little more than salesmen, who wrap up their failed vision for our future in tasteful remarks, that grant us no sustenance.

The politicization of the event was disappointing, but not unexpected. Nevertheless, our members were not there to see the politicians, but to honor the legacy of our ancestors, and commune with our present-day countrymen. The assortment of material we brought along was generally very well received, with several attendees expressing great enthusiasm and excitement at seeing a new grassroots initiative at work. Some minor unpleasant confrontations did occur, notably with “Indivisible” participants, who had turned out in force with various handmade signs to voice their opposition to the Trump administration. Hardly the time and place for such demonstrations, but we paid them little mind. These people mean well but possess a woefully poor understanding of the reality behind modern politics.

The New England National party marches on now, just as Saturday’s parade across The Old North Bridge did. We march for Liberty, Prosperity, and Virtue. These are not “rights” but duties. The NENP is unique in the political landscape in understanding that our words are not merely pacifying platitudes but have a real culmination point; Power for our people to once again shape our own destiny, as we did 250 years ago. The time for disingenuous politicians is coming to a close, as authentic men of action step forward onto the scene.

Judging New England

In New England, there are wealthy counties, and there are poor counties. I’m from one of the poor counties. When I go to the wealthy counties, or to a wealthy area in another New England state, I’m in awe of the differences.

In the wealthy counties, there are things like the Mathnasium, the Russian School of Mathematics. There are fancy gyms with CrossFit, MMA, yoga, tai chi. There are nice dance schools, music schools, and gymnastic academies. We have some of those things, but not in the quantity or quality I observe in the wealthier areas.

But there’s one upside to living in a poorer area. For some reason, the poorer areas are more conservative, and the wealthier areas are more liberal. A child living in a wealthier area usually has more advantages and opportunities than a child in a poorer area. But I found one exception; In the poor counties, the family court judges, and probate judges tend to be conservative and refuse to approve “gender affirming care for minor children.” In the wealthier areas, the judges more often let the children get chemically castrated and surgically mutilated because it’s the latest “right thing to do, right side of history.” For once, growing up in a poorer area has an advantage!

The judge I know about who refused “gender affirming care for minor children” was threatened with “BAR discipline” by the state office in charge of the judges. This judge said, “I would love to be disciplined publicly for refusing to approve gender affirming care for minors. I will frame the disciplinary document and hang it in my office next to my law license and law school diploma.”

If you are a right-thinking lawyer, try to become a probate judge. It’s typically an elected office. You’ll have to join your Republican or Democrat town committee and go to meetings and do a campaign. But then you’ll have a cushy state job with gold plated health insurance and a decent salary. Your clerk will have decades of experience and will do most of the real work for you.

Most importantly, you’ll be in a position to protect children from the gender madness, and from Munchausen moms who want to use their children for attention and government money. As the meme says, “A trans-child is like a vegan cat. We know who’s making the decisions.”

, the New England National Party attended its first public event, joining the March for Life in Hartford, Connecticut. Notably, this is the only state march for life event in New England, and our members were keen on making it our inaugural official gathering, to establish that the New England National Party is the pro-life party of American politics. Our members reported a tremendously successful and energizing experience, with extensive interest in our political initiative from fellow attendees. The assembled organizations marched for Life, and the NENP marched with them for life, liberty, prosperity, and virtue. Our representatives fielded numerous questions from attendees, many focused on the slogans of our business cards, “Family Traditions, Community Values, and Economic Independence. In this entry we will endeavor to flesh out these concepts for potential participants.

Economic Independence: This is a fairly straightforward objective on which we have received full agreement from both left and right alike whenever discussing the subject. This statement emanates from our value of localism, which encourages New Englanders to invest their time and money in local business and industry before participating in the global economy. We use the word invest, because when you spend your money in your own community, it tends to stay in and advance the interests of your own community. We receive support on this position from conservatives who are rediscovering nationalism, and from liberals who chiefly have environmental concerns in mind. They may have different paths to reaching it, but they have the same end destination; Localism. Ironically both the mainstream political parties that this demographic adheres to has utterly betrayed them on their core issues. The Republican Party long ago abandoned nationalism in accordance with the wishes of its corporate masters that worship at the altar of capitalism, while the Democratic Party long ago abandoned true environmental stewardship for the exact same reasons but was clever enough to cloak it with egalitarian moral high ground. In all of this, the citizenry gets neglected and left behind, and the politicians have allowed our homeland to devolve into an unsustainable condition that directly impacts families in our respective states.

Values: Here in New England we have a long history of tightly knit communities, and a deep culture of volunteerism and civic engagement. The modern age has directly attacked this history and culture, largely with communications technology which has created a false sense of broader community; a mirage of belonging that will never slake the natural human thirst for belonging. Our younger generations feel this thirst the most. Never before have we possessed so many avenues of communication, yet never before have people been so isolated. The NENP seeks to bring New Englanders back to an awareness of their roots, of who they are, where they come from, and where they belong.

Family Traditions: Now we come to things that matter most. It has been observed that “politics is downstream of culture”, and with that mindset we believe that our political movement must pay strong attention to native culture and its needs. Where does culture come from? Why from our people of course, and the fundamental building block of any people is the family. New Englanders love their families, their neighbors, their countrymen, and frankly the entirety of humanity. “With liberty and justice for all” is a decidedly New England egalitarian message. Notable moral crusades such as the temperance Movement, the Women’s suffrage movement, and Abolitionism all had New England roots, stemming from the deep moral foundations laid by our Puritan ancestors. Now in the modern age, mass media has corrupted our egalitarian spirit, and turned it away from our own families and communities. Leaving home as soon as possible is encouraged, and moving away from boring little New England towns to the bright lights of the big cities across America is romanticized. There is much injustice to be fought across the world, but there are also monumental problems faced right here at home, and we need our best people to take them on. How can families keep their traditions, and sustain our local culture, when they are scattered across our broad land (often due to economic necessity) and fed fanciful dreams that draw them away from their moorings? The NENP will work in all its endeavors to return the focus of our peoples spirit inward to the land where they come from, and the land where they belong. New England is truly a national treasure, and we must ensure our entire populace is able to see this, and grounds their identity within it.

There are many who say the “culture war” between conservatives and liberals in America has ended, and often, depending on which of the mainstream political party holds higher office, that appears to be true. The reality is that the culture war has never really been waged, because the American people, and New England specifically, have never had a true champion. Many individual fighters have come and gone, but they have always stood alone, without the political power to ever achieve true victory. The New England National Party now declares its full participation in the culture war.

I have repeatedly been advised that the path to populist victory in Connecticut is through the Republican Town Committees, hereafter in this article referred to as “RTCs”. This comports with the observable discourse among disaffected Republicans, who know that there is clearly a problem with their party but are uncertain how to go about fixing it. Unfortunately, this situation is not new, but nothing has come of it in the past. Do we remember the TEA Party? What about Occupy Wall Street on the left? Efforts to press the political establishment on both sides of the aisle have consistently failed and burned out, because the political establishment does not want to be reformed, and the electorate currently does not posses the will to force reform upon them.

The Democratic Party is a private political club, beholden to the wealthy donors who set the objectives, that utilizes emotionally charged arguments to parasitize on the egalitarian nature of white Americans, and cater to the grievances of various minority groups. The author is obviously no friend of the Democratic Party, but their model has been in use since at least the 1960s, and has been fabulously successful due to the (orchestrated) collapse of the public education system. This is exactly why we see such strong devotion to liberalism and the Democratic Party here in New England, because we suffer from an abundance of over education, or more precisely over schooling. If only we had listened to Mark Twain; “I never let my schooling interfere with my education.”

Now I shall address the Republican Party as this is the faction with the most disgruntled rank and file, while the Democratic Party continues to enjoy a far more compliant base, despite the challenges of their rainbow coalition strategy. We seem to have developed this fanciful idea that the Republican Party functions as a democracy, which is simply not the case. The Republican Party is also a private club, with visible leadership that serve as figureheads and mouthpieces for the real power; the money holders.

            What then even are RTCs?

Well the truth is that if RTCs had any real power, then the Republican leadership would not allow them to exist. The actual purpose of RTCs is to capture the politically minded and motivated private citizens and diffuse their energy into a benign endeavor that will not threaten the establishment. No doubt many RTC participants will be filled with ire at this statement, because it certainly feels like they are doing something that matters, but ask yourselves, what have you actually accomplished in the grand scheme of things? Have the ripples you made even reached the pond? Or are you deliberately isolated in a vernal pool, so as not to disrupt the status quo as you intend?

The status quo of power, or “system” is everything to the state level politicians. This is why they so often proclaim the importance of “our democracy” (its not ours, its theirs) and how sacred it is. In this system meritocracy is not valued, compliance with the party agenda is. The real purpose of an RTC to these people is not to build the party from the ground up, but to keep the politically minded citizenry corralled and occupied, much in the same way that televised sports and various other entertainments do for the apolitical broad masses. Think back to the Republican’s most recent failed gubernatorial candidate, Bob Stefanowski. Did HE come from an RTC? Or did he strike directly for the head of the beast in the same fashion as President Trump back in 2016? The author has the conviction that seizure of the RTCs by grassroots activists, while potentially a useful tactic for forming a local network, is not a viable strategy for rectifying the ailments permeating Connecticut politics.

Now dear reader, do not take any of this criticism as an excuse for inaction. “There's nothing you can do, because the power structure will not allow you to have a voice!” No, that is not at all what I advocate. The politically minded man has a duty to take action in politics, but he must be astute and observe which pathways are dead ends or traps carefully laid by the adversary. We are like Christian in John Bunyan’s famous work “The Pilgrim’s Progress”. Christian knows the destination he seeks, but cannot yet see it unless he stays strong in the faith, and follows the narrow path. There are dozens of political action organizations in Connecticut. Focus your efforts on things that matter, and reject the Republican RTC trap. There is a better path.

           Defining Ideology

To address a question that has been received numerous times now; The New England National Party is not a libertarian party. While many of the values we promote are shared by libertarians, and many of our members are (recovering) libertarians themselves, we emphatically reject the platform of the Libertarian Party in America as both inadequate, and unserious in addressing the modern problems facing our nation.

The NENP is developing from a foundation of populism and nationalism within the common people of New England. We do not have credentialed writers and intellectuals who have established party dogma for us to coalesce around, we are building that center for ourselves, and from the ground up. This places the NENP in the unique position of being a true grassroots initiative. With no established influential personalities dominating and directing the discourse, the members themselves will be able to have genuine dialogue concerning the building and direction of the party. Unlike the established political parties throughout the country, leadership will be transparent and accessible to rank and file members, as the founding members and De facto leaders of the party are entirely committed to building a party “of the people”.

It is understood that each and every person will bring their own presuppositions and influences to the NENP. This will create the “diversity of ideas” that conservatives often advocate for, but in practice the Republican Party has never provided for them. This early after its establishment, all NENP members and affiliates will also be contributors. Their ideas will be heard and their perspectives considered, which is something that is entirely unheard of in our current political system. Through this process we hope to build the core of a movement that will challenge the political establishment throughout New England.

The platform is established, and pillars are clear, although additions to it are certainly expected as the party grows in size and scope. As for ideology, this will always be guided by one principle; Is it best for New England? Now let there be no confusion on where the founding membership stands, the NENP is a nationalist and populist party.

An Old Crisis with a New Solution

The 2024 presidential election perfectly illustrated two irrefutable truths: One, the Democratic Party is entirely dominant in this region of the country, and two, the Republican Party is incapable of contesting the Democrats agenda. New England reaffirmed its position as a solid blue region, in stark contrast with the rest of the country, despite a significant portion of registered voters being unaffiliated in all six states. This should make it clear to all observers that the New England region of our country is a culturally and politically unique region that has been misunderstood and misrepresented by the existing major parties. New perspectives and leadership are needed.

For many of the insulated wealthy, Democratic dominance is not at all an issue, as they receive exactly what they have voted for from the Democratic Party and are not interested in change. For the educated working class across New England though, this is an unmitigated financial and cultural disaster. Middle class and working-class families are being torn apart and uprooted, because their children simply cannot afford to live in the towns they grew up in upon reaching adulthood. Moving south used to be an activity for retirees to escape our harsh winters, but now we see our younger demographic fleeing in droves to escape a staggering cost of living. Everyone is aware of this problem, although some choose not to acknowledge it as it does not personally affect them.

Social welfare programs are the first answer from the ruling elite. While it is certainly good for struggling young families to have support, bankrupt states devoid of a tax base simply cannot afford social welfare, and so they continually seek out fresh tax revenues, exacerbating the issue even more.

As the hemorrhaging of residents continues, our rulers then turn to immigration to replace the shrinking tax base. This strategy is laughably absurd, because the vast majority of immigrants have been refugees from such shattered countries as Somalia and Haiti, who bring little with them except the clothes on their backs and are immediately in need of public assistance themselves. This also introduces the “cultural disaster” which was noted earlier here, and which no existing political party will honestly address. The introduction of foreign cultures at such high rates has and will continue to fundamentally transform our native culture, until our states become unrecognizable. Street takeovers on I-95 in Connecticut come to mind, as do heinous assaults on young schoolgirls in Maine.

Surely after decades of such terrible mismanagement, the Republican Party would have a well-articulated solution, and a plan for upsetting the Democrat dominance across the region? Far from it. In repeated cases we have seen the Republican Party field utterly atrocious candidates for otherwise winnable seats, while sidelining and even openly attacking some promising young participants. The Republican Party across New England (with some states notably being worse than others) has utterly failed to understand the changing times and allowed the neocon old guard to mire them in defeat and irrelevancy. Let them continue to congratulate themselves on “running a good campaign” after their failures. Here at the New England National Party, we will build for the future.

NENP Denounces Bill HB6831

All members and associates of the New England National Party (NENP) hereby formally denounce HB6831. The bill underwent its first public hearing of the legislative session today in Hartford, before the Planning and Development Committee.

As has been noted by numerous private citizens and various activist groups from across Connecticut, this bill is an egregious assault on the age-old tradition of Home Rule in our state. This bill is the brainchild of an out of state developer lobbying group known as “Desegregate CT” which cloaks its personal enrichment agenda with a name that speaks to well-meaning, but uninformed egalitarian minded citizens.

HB6831 empowers direct manipulation of Connecticut townships by the state and is a significant encroachment on the traditional independence they have enjoyed since colonial times. The residents of a particular township know what is best for their respective communities, not the out-of-date bureaucracy in Hartford. We reject this legislative effort to silence the voice of the people in their local affairs.

Exploiting 21st Century Nullification

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong has sparked controversy by touring capitol and coastal sanctuary cities to reassure immigrant communities amidst the Trump administration’s impending federal immigration law enforcement. Critics argue that Tong's actions exceed his legal duties and may represent a conflict of interest given his immigrant background and vocal pride in his heritage. Some question whether his personal and ideological motivations are influencing his ability to impartially serve Connecticut's native-born citizens. This has raised concerns about his adherence to state-defined official duties and potential bias in protecting illegal immigrants.

Connecticut Attorney General Tong has been a busy man as of late, touring the capitol and coastal sanctuary cities to reassure Connecticut’s foreign-born population that they will be protected from the coming storm that is the Trump administration’s enforcement of federal immigration law. This issue may seem like flagrant scofflaw behavior to many, but while the particulars of it ooze with classic 20 th century pathological egalitarianism, the fundamentals are rooted in the 200 year old practice of nullification. The nation's enemies have studied our history, and they now use it against us. Thousands of words could be devoted to unpacking this matter, but what is important to answer right now about the grand tour of our illustrious public servant is why he is actually doing it.

Is this tour of immigration strongholds a duty of the AG? What exactly is his job? Is this office he currently heads (funded by the taxes of the state citizenry) intended to function as a crisis counselor for immigrants? Can any legal justification whatsoever be found for the Attorney General to be operating in this manner? The exact duties of the office are clearly spelled out in state law, as has been previously

noted in the CT Centinal by Mr. Bob Swick, but Mr. Tong has blatantly undertaken an agenda far outside those enumerated assignments. What recourse does the Citizenry have in this situation where their elected official has established his own additional duties? Essentially none, since Mr. Tong is a member in good standing of the state power structure. Are you enjoying our democracy yet, Citizen?

With no perceivable legal obligation to explain his actions, I must conclude that Mr. Tong has some manner of personal or ideological interest he is pursuing by agitating foreign residents against federal governance. Unshackled from traditional conservative thought constraints, I was able to ascertain that it is indeed the former for Mr Tong. He repeatedly proclaims his own immigrant background in his official biography on the state website, and clearly Mr. Tong is very proud of his roots; “Tong is the oldest of five children and grew up working side-by-side withhis immigrant parents in their family’s Chinese restaurant.” Then we see the following paragraph celebrate the landmark of “the first Asian American elected to any state office in Connecticut history, and the first Chinese American to be elected Attorney General nationwide.” (

           portal.ct.gov/ag/about-the-ag

) While devotion to one’s heritage and origin is a commendable characteristic, one cannot help but wonder if we are seeing Mr. Tong struggle with a significant conflict of interest here. Can Mr. Tong properly represent the interests of the state and its native-born citizens when he identifies so strongly with the immigrant population from which he sprang? Clearly, he is unable to determine the difference between legal immigrants (like his parents?) and illegal immigrants that he now seeks to protect, so this is another indicator that Mr. Tong’s emotions are clouding his judgment on this matter. China? Has not our national leadership been warning of conflict with China for some time now? No nothing to see here, and if you see anything that

warrants further discussion then you're a bigot, and as we all know discussion is un-American, and bigots are not allowed in our beloved democracy.

I would venture to guess that Mr. Tong has never in his life been questioned on his sound and impartial judgment being affected by his origin. Why would he be, when the woke mind virus has long commanded us all to accept “diversity” as our one true god? In this world of pregnant men and woman war fighters, it would have been unthinkable for the question of such conflicts of interest to even arise

during the AG campaign. Let’s hope they do before actual conflicts arise with foreign nations half the world over.

The Abdication of the Republican Party in Connecticut

The November 2024 elections saw a national Republican victory, including the presidency and Congress, driven by economic concerns and "wokeness" fatigue. However, Republicans in Connecticut faced significant setbacks, struggling with ineffective candidates and poor internal management. This has led to calls for radical leadership change within the CT GOP. Looking ahead to 2025, Connecticut citizens must decide whether to revamp their political strategy or persist with a struggling Republican establishment, amid hopes for a more effective future direction.

The Country experienced a sweeping victory for the Republican party in the November 2024 election, winning the presidency, as well as seats in the house and senate. This has been heavily credited to the state of the economy, and “wokeness” fatigue, with the populace finally saying enough to the insanity that the far left has been pushing to the forefront of the Democratic platform over the past decade.

How then did the Republican Party fair across New England? Did it benefit from the general groundswell of support for right wing politics? No, the election was largely a disaster for us Yankees, with Connecticut Republicans in particular once again flabbergasted by an overwhelming victory for candidates like Senator Murphy. Why the continual surprise? This outcome was foreseen by many of the rank and file of the Party, with one former candidate bluntly predicting to me “George Logan is going to

lose” over breakfast. The CT GOP has demonstrated time and again that it is unable or unwilling to tap into the energy that is generated by a presidential election. Strong candidates such as Mr. Austin Monteiro in the 110 th district received little if any official support, while repeated failures and softball throwers like Logan and Mathew Corey soaked up the funding.

This isn’t complicated, President Trump has shown us the blueprint to electoral victory, but the CT GOP continues to squander time and resources on national elections with poor candidates. Is this a matter of incompetence? Resignation? Or is it nefarious conspiracy as some have indicated, based on various donations being made to Democrat candidates by supposed Republicans? Whatever the case may be, it is certain to this layman that the CT GOP is in need of radical leadership change at a minimum. Can we discuss total abolition at this time? Or has the Republican party secured enough gravitas across the

country to warrant continued support in New England, where it is the perennial loser? Abolishing the Republican Party may seem like an unfathomable idea to many, but we can see that the Democratic Party is far along on the path to do exactly that, and they wont need the consent of its members. Will the coming Trump administration demonstrate to Connecticut how utterly inept and effete the CT GOP is? Will Democrats in Connecticut continue to be unopposed in their undermining of the national mandate? Will Mr. Proto and other creatures of the Republican establishment flail about in helpless protest, or will they be at the forefront of action in support of the Trump agenda?

These are all questions that will be answered in 2025, either directly or by the marked silence of Republican leadership. Connecticut citizens will need to determine what course of action will best serve them, and if we can indeed salvage the disaster that is the Connecticut Republican Party. The author will hold out hope that Connecticut citizens have the necessary resolve to plot a correct course once they arrive at the truth, no matter how unwelcome it may be. Choose well Connecticut.

The party aims to challenge the complete monopoly of power currently held by the Democratic Party in the region, which NENP leaders argue has led New England down an unsustainable path that
